Have you recovered from the holidays yet? I’m still working on it. ;) In the meantime, I wanted to share our 2018 highlights and give you a sneak peek of what I'm most excited about in 2019!
Highlight No.1: Lifestyle Photoshoot
At the beginning of 2018, we did our first professional lifestyle photoshoot in collaboration with Oh, Honestly Photography and Citrus Salon--both women-owned businesses in Martinez, CA. This was an incredible experience--sharing a day with my biggest fans, getting our hair and makeup done, having fun in front of the camera while sipping mimosas. I loved creating these beautiful images for the new website that allows you to see how the jewelry wears and how to style it.
Highlight No.2: New Website Launch! (Yes, the exclamation mark is totally necessary.)
The second major accomplishment of 2018 was building a new website to create a beautiful online experience for our community where you can learn about our designs, create wishlists, shop, review products and so much more! Highlight No.3: Jewelry Case at Del Cielo Brewing
As you might already know, my husband and I opened a brewery in Downtown Martinez on May of 2018. And of course, we created a space for a jewelry case to showcase the collection year-round. Having the collection at the brewery has allowed me to connect with so many local women that identify with the line and our minimalist design aesthetic. In addition to having the jewelry case, we took it a step further and invited local artisans during the holidays for our first holiday artisan markets at the brewery. We loved supporting local makers and we are definitely looking forward to hosting more of these in 2019.
Highlight No.4: Nordstrom Pop-In's
Mid-year, I had the opportunity to showcase the line at Nordstrom of Broadway Plaza. This was an amazing turning point for Cielomar Jewelry. I loved sharing my jewelry collection inside such a beautiful store and getting to know my local community of women. The line was so well received, that we ended up showcasing the line at the Nordstrom of Corte Madera as well. Would you like to be the first to know of our next pop-ups at Nordstrom? Highlight No.5: Brand Ambassador Partnership
Towards the end of the year, we launched our Brand Ambassador Partnership program (beta edition). The program was started with a select group of Cielomar Jewelry Collectors. The purpose of the program is to connect with women from our community that authentically love Cielomar Jewelry and want to share with their community. I’m loving the interaction and support and look forward to expanding the program in 2019.

What’s new for 2019? We are now wholesaling to local boutiques and museum stores!
For the past three years, I’ve been selecting a word of the year to guide my intentions for the year ahead. This year my word is Growth. I’ve been focusing on Cielomar Jewelry’s online and in person customer experience throughout 2018 with the launch of the new website, lifestyle photography, high-end in person events and Brand Ambassador Partnership program.
In 2019, I will be expanding into wholesale! I’ve started 2019 with a bang by participating at Indie Market, a wholesale show in the Bay Area that takes place at the Craneway Pavilion. This was a new experience for me presenting our line to buyers of local boutique stores and museum stores. I’m so excited to share that we’ll have our collection at new store locations in the Bay Area. Wanna see the collection in person? Check out our new retailers here!
